Using any of the above mentioned tools serves one purpose, freeing the mind to allow thoughts, ideas and pictures flow into the conscious mind. The object is the focus that eventually opens the channel.

Learning to scry can be frustrating for those who lack patience. Let's face it fine tuning your psychic ability takes discipline, self control and submission. One must focus on the object, free the mind of outside influence and all things that distract one from the task at hand. One must be open to impressions and not be distracted by images in the periphery of vision.

Pick a tool that suits you, any one will do. The choice is totally up to you. The most important thing is that you are comfortable with it.

dot.gif - 287 Bytes  The crystal ball.
The most popular tool for scrying. It can be glass, crystal or plastic. The most common balls are made from optical quality glass. They are ground round and polished to be absolutely clear. I saw one at trade show made by corning. It was stunning. Of course the most expensive balls are those that are ground and polished quartz, or other clear material. The least expensive balls are cast out of acrylic plastic. Keep in mind plastic scratches more easily, but works just the same.
